Christmas decorations in Thailand are different. Keep in mind, more than 95% of Thais are Buddhists, so Christmas isn't a meaningful holiday for them. But the Thais are both smart and hospitable, and they know that there is a large farang (foreigner) population here who like to celebrate Christmas (and are willing to spend a little extra money then). So they do the best they can. But the results aren't always what you'd expect. Here are some examples of the types of Christmas trees you see in Thailand.
