We went to the brand new night safari this week, while it was still free!

It was pretty similar to American zoos, except for having mostly Asian animals. Here's a cute little Asian monkey of some sort.

Okay, remember in Princess Bride when they talk about 'rodents of unusual size'? That's what these guys are. Basically a 60 pound guinea pig.

This is appropriately names a mouse deer. It's only about the size of a housecat, and has these little sticks for legs. But the head looks like a deer...an interesting critter.

Here's a giant turtle. He posed nicely for a photo!

This little guy was on an island that you walked over on a bridge...apparently not a fan of swimming.

These are tiger cubs that-I am not kidding here-you can pay 100 baht to get a picture of you holding. Mama tiger is nowhere in sight, but still, you don't get to do that in the US!!
