More Thai Lessons
Today we went to have breakfast with Khun Paiboon and Khun Patcharaporn. We had Thai breakfast with rice pudding, eggs, and fresh ginger, cilantro, and onions. It was really good! Then we spent a few hours practicing Thai with them. It was really great to be able to practice putting sentences together. Before we knew it, it was lunch time and they were fixing more food for us! We had what Thai people call "American fried rice"-it was fried rice with hot dog slices in it, with ketchup and chili sauce (aka Thai ketchup) for dipping. This family has been so gracious to us, and I feel like we're really starting to learn a little Thai!
