Wow, it's November!

It's hard to believe it's been a whole month since we moved! Ian has kept us busy. We've had visits from Jeremy's parents and sister, and my grandma. It's been really great for everyone to meet Ian! Jeremy is back to work and it's going really well. And I'm enjoying my new job as a full-time mom. We have more pictures up of Ian at his new website-check there for updates on him!
The big move...sort of

Last weekend we were supposed to move to Aurora. We had an apartment picked out and reserved, and people to help us move. But we just didn't have peace about the timing anymore. Our reasons for going now weren't really there anymore, and it was going to be much more difficult than we originally anticipated to move with a two week old baby. We still want to move to Aurora, but now we're thinking maybe next January or so, maybe a little later will be better.

In the meantime, we have moved into a house owned by our church here in Jacksonville. It's a cute little three bedroom house. The move was very low stress, mostly because it's about a half mile from my parents' house and we've been able to do it more gradually. We're enjoying the chance to establish a routine as a family. Ian has been doing very well. Last night he even slept for two and a half hours straight-twice!

We're home!

Ian and I came home on Saturday, and we're both doing well. He hasn't quite figured out his days and nights yet, but we won't hold that against him. It is so amazing to hold our little boy-we are so in love with him!! There are more pictures up in the gallery if you'd like to see.

My last pregnant belly shot

We went to the doctor today and got some exciting news-I will be induced on Thursday!! That's the baby's due date. We're supposed to arrive at the hospital at 4am on Thursday-so you Thailand folk would be awake, but probably no one else we know! Hopefully by Thursday evening or early Friday morning we'll have a son!

Here's the last pregnant belly shot-the 40 week picture. I'm as big as a house!
So much for that idea....

Well, the full moon and the old wives' tales didn't work. I even ate eggplant trying to get something going, but alas, I am just as pregnant now as I was yesterday. Hopefully soon we'll have a little guy here!

Okay, kid, anytime now!

So we are now 9 days from his due date, and this kid is showing no signs of trying to vacate. I'm beginning to wonder if he is getting a little TOO comfortable in there! At any rate, this Thursday is a full moon, so I'm going to try every wives' tale I can find on Thursday and see if anything happens. I really want to meet him soon!

Getting close!

It is now 17 days from our son's due date, and I'm getting eager for him to get here!! We have almost everything ready for him, and can hardly wait to meet him! If anyone has any suggestions on how to get labor started, I'd love to hear them-no matter how silly they sound!

Four weeks to go!!

Only four weeks until the baby is due!! He has dropped in the last few days, which I am thankful for for two reasons. First, I can breathe so much better now that he is not squishing my lungs. Second, it means he knows he is supposed to come out! It is so exciting to know that in only a few weeks, we'll be able to hold our little boy!

School started this week at Grace, and we've definitely been thinking of them. I am so thankful for the time that we had at Grace, and I hope people keep us updated on what's happening there, because they're definitely on our hearts.

Baby shower!

Last night, my church here in Jacksonville threw us a baby shower!! It was so sweet, and we really weren't expecting it since it has been so long since I've been active here. Lots of people came, and gave us tons of adorable baby outfits, along with diapers, wipes, and baby bath supplies. It was a lot of fun and we appreciate it so much!

Jeremy comes home today! He's been in Pennsylvania at the board game tournament for a week, and I'm so glad he'll be back in just a few hours!
