			<description>Christmas decorations in Thailand are different.  Keep in mind, more than 95% of Thais are Buddhists, so Christmas isn't a meaningful holiday for them.  But the Thais are both smart and hospitable, and they know that there is a large farang (foreigner) population here who like to celebrate Christmas (and are willing to spend a little extra money then).
